| Julie in her new home on San Carlos Field, a small, local airport just down highway 101 from my house. I used to fly Julie from Oakland International Airport, but the drive from San Mateo was a killer, and I really wasn't getting the opportunity to fly her as much as I'd like. SQL is an infinitely nicer and more pleasant place to fly, it has a very 'small town' feel, despite it being located in the dead center of one of the nations largest metro areas. There's a small aviation museum, a little Gazebo where families can watch operations, a cute little terminal building with on-field grease-pit, and line boys running around like it was still 1950. I love it:) |  |
